However, it is a business that is disappearing, and with it, all the specific expertise that goes along with it. This is undoubtedly the result of the systematic strategic takeovers during these past two decades, leading to the incorporation of large businesses in the sector. This situation has gone hand in hand with the current increase of economic globalisation.
REIBEL was incorporated in 1985, and has always remained an independent player, competing against large competitors. It has maintained its own policy and followed its own strategy and philosophy. This philosophy is based on having a nose for market niches and feeling strongly about values as “commitment” and the high standard of quality of the service provided, in other words: our clients are truly our number one concern. The size of our company is also its strength: REIBEL has the flexibility to respond quickly, has an SME nearby, whilst also having the network, the control and the expertise of a multinational.
All these strengths are particularly important, at the time when small companies are increasing importing and exporting goods as a result of the globalisation. At such a time, one needs to be able to rely on a partner who understands their problems and has the capacity to resolve them. In July 2013 we moved into Reibel House, our new head office. This building is energy efficient and is exemplary for the logistics sector, the centre of our operations, dedicated to our major principles, and a fulfilment of our dreams of expanding the business. It has cost us time and money, but the results of our efforts clearly outweigh the sacrifices we have made.
We hope that our clients, our suppliers, our personnel, our shareholders and, of course, our guests, will feel at home.
